How to Boycott 67 US Products to Combat Tariffs Against Canada
If the US implements tariffs against Canada in 2025, I am calling on all Canadians to make a personal sacrifice for one year. I am calling on you to strategically boycott the 67 American products listed below to fight the tariffs against Canada.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This boycott is not about likes, shares, retweets, subscribes or even signing a petition. This boycott is about action.
The boycott strategy
Even though there are 200 potential companies that could be boycotted, we can not boycott all 200 companies because doing so could affect Canadian jobs. For example, Walmart is an American Company. However, a lot of Canadians work at Walmart. We don’t want them to lose their jobs. We want to boycott in a way that results in minimal impact to Canadian jobs and Canadian businesses.
Why American clothing brands are the easiest to boycott
Even though many US clothing brands operate in Canada, the products are manufactured outside North America in countries with cheaper labour. This is an example of a product that is not being manufactured in Canada and would have minimal impact on Canadian Jobs.
Do Something: The Tariff plan only works if we roll over and do nothing.
Canadians are known to be very polite. This time we can’t be polite. We have to act. These threats were made because the person who made the threats was expecting us to do nothing.
Now without further ado, here’s how to fight back against the tariffs.
