Trump Threatened a Wall, But In Reality Canada Needs The Wall.
During his first term as President, Donald Trump repeatedly threatened to build a wall along the southern border between the United States and Mexico. His reasons for the wall included illegal immigration, and drug trafficking.
The need for the wall also centered around noble sounding reasons like the safety and sovereignty of the United States.
To further his cause, he added a few urgent sounding things like national security.
He assured his base that the wall would prevent illegal immigrants from abusing the immigration system. He emphasized the importance of not allowing gangs and drug dealers to just pour into America.
Trump now threatens Canada, his closest ally, echoing his past threats against Mexico.
The difference between the threats against Mexico and the threats against Canada is that he has upped the ante. With Canada, he is also threatening to annex Canada.
To support his cause, he claims that the line between Canada and the United States does not exist and that it is only an artificially drawn line.
These vile statements have no basis in reality and serve no purpose other than to further his evil agenda.
I am reminded of an old business-acquaintance who lives in Switzerland. One day he shared a story about what happened when he was out jogging. He was out for a run, enjoying his run, and wasn’t really paying attention. When he finally realized where he was, he had jogged over into Germany.
Would you tell Switzerland that they are not a country? Would you tell Germany that they are not a country?
No, but all of a sudden you have the audacity to insult and bully Canada.
Today, as Canada begins a federal election, I would just like to put it out there that Canada needs a new ministry of Wall Services.
If America can create Doge, Canada can create a brand-new ministry dedicated to building a wall?
Why Does Canada Need a Wall?
- We need a wall to make it very clear that there is a line where America ends and Canada begins.
- The wall will clearly show our nation as sovereign and separate from the U.S.
- We need a wall to let all the Americans coming to Canada to buy eggs remember where they got affordable eggs from.
You see, while Donald Trump is lying about all the fentanyl coming across the border from Canada, the main thing coming across the border from Canada is eggs.
Americans are driving over to Canada to buy eggs because they can no longer afford to buy them in the United States.
The entire case for imposing tariffs against Canada and insulting our sovereignty is based on lies.
To make sure nothing is left to the imagination, Canada needs a wall.
No matter what the cost is, it will serve as a reminder that we are a sovereign nation and make the difference between Canada and the United States very visible.
